For Cambridge IGCSE · A Level coming soon

The smartest way to learn is to teach.

Explain topics to your own AI pupil. It only learns what you teach it, so the gaps in your understanding show up fast.

How it works

Learn it by teaching it.

Three steps, about five minutes a topic. Your AI pupil starts knowing nothing, so everything it gets right came from you.

  1. You

    Explain a topic

Pick something from your syllabus and explain it to your pupil, typed or out loud. Like helping a friend before a test.

Force makes things speed up, slow down or turn…
  2. Your pupil

    It answers exam questions

It answers real IGCSE-style questions using only what you told it. Nothing you skipped, nothing from the internet.

  3. You

    Fix what it got wrong

Its mistakes point at the exact idea you explained badly. Teach that bit again, and now you really know it.

Why it works

Explaining beats re-reading.

  • The protégé effect

Students worked harder to learn material when they were teaching it to a computer agent than when they were learning it for themselves.

Chase, Chin, Oppezzo & Schwartz (2009), Journal of Science Education and Technology

  • Explaining beats re-reading

Explaining material to others led to better understanding and recall than simply studying it again.

Questions

What is TeachVerse?

A study app where you learn by teaching. You explain IGCSE and A Level topics to your own AI pupil, called an agent. It only learns from what you tell it, then proves it on real exam-style questions.

Which subjects and syllabuses does it cover?

Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Computer Science, at IGCSE and A Level (AS and A2). Topics follow the Cambridge syllabuses (0580, 0625, 0620, 0610, 0478 and 9709, 9702, 9701, 9700, 9618), with Pearson Edexcel mapped. Content is picked for your school year.

Can I just paste answers in to level up?

No. Pasted text, textbook definitions and nonsense are caught and earn nothing. An AI judge only credits an idea when it can point to the exact words where you explained it, and your agent then has to answer a real question correctly.

Is the AI going to do my homework for me?

No. Your agent plays the pupil, not the tutor. It asks questions and never explains the topic for you, because the learning happens when you do the explaining.

Are there practice papers?

Yes, for Cambridge IGCSE. Pick a subject, the topics, the paper and a length, and TeachVerse builds a printable, numbered paper of exam-style questions, with the matching mark scheme. Every paper is saved so you can mark it and track your score. Free accounts get three papers a week.

Can it plan my revision for an exam?

Yes. Pick the topics in your exam and, if you know it, the exam date. TeachVerse turns them into a day-by-day list: teach each part to your pupil, revise its flashcards, then pass the topic test. Each subject gets a progress bar and a daily pace that finishes in time.
